Wine Museum - Brotte - CHâTEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE

The museum housing the private Brotte collection has had a makeover... With the help of an audio-guide, visitors can find out all about the life of the modern wine-grower, from the vineyard to the cellars. Learn about the entire wine-making process from vine to wine – close your eyes and you could be there! Stroll around the modern surroundings, decorated with a range of pieces from the past, a legacy of the Châteauneuf du Pape estate’s wine-making tradition. Audio-guide available in F, GB, D, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese. Duration approximately 30-40 minutes.

The Museum and the cellar extend over 500 m². Self-guided tours available, as well as free wine tasting (duration: 1.5 hours) and the chance to buy wine in the cellar. Find out about old customs and wine-making traditions. Display of 300 old wine-making tools, including a 16th-century press. Information resources available in English and German.
Several options available for groups; please check with us for prices. Guided visit and wine tasting (first wine free of charge): 60-90 minutes, advance booking only. Possibility of tasting additional wines on request for a small fee.
Special quiz for children for a fun, educational experience learning about the world of wine and Châteauneuf du Pape.
