The Peyre estate is located in Robion, a village in Luberon. It is open all year round from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm and 2.00 to 7.00 pm.
A bit of background to this wonderful estate: the bastide village dates back to Gallo-Roman times. The current owners have conducted archaeological digs, finding traces of Roman houses and coins dating from when the Papal seat was in Avignon. “For over 2,000 years, Peyre has been a focal point for wine-growing and wine.”Come check the estate out, stroll through the vineyards, enjoy the scenery featuring olive trees, lavender, cherry trees, almond trees and of course the vines. You will have many a surprise on your walk, including a breath-taking view!The estate welcomes you to a friendly wine-tasting session. A library is available for you to learn about wine-growing.The staff are delighted to welcome you and to answer any questions you may have.
